What We Provide

At Central Valley British Shorthairs, our kittens go home fully prepared for a smooth, happy transition to their forever families. We’re committed to raising healthy, well-socialized kittens who are ready to become cherished companions.

Before Going Home, All Kittens Will:

• Receive a full veterinary exam by a licensed veterinarian

• Be vaccinated and dewormed (age appropriate)

• Be spayed or neutered (age appropriate). If your kitten is not yet altered, a written agreement will be provided with a deadline for the procedure.

• Be well-socialized to household life, including handling, visitors, and normal household noises

• Be familiar with grooming (nail trims, baths, brushing)

• Be introduced early to the litter box and fully litter trained

• Be in excellent health—no kitten will leave our care if showing any signs of illness

• Come with complete health records, including vaccination dates, deworming history, and other medical notes

• Include a three-generation pedigree and breeder slip

• Go home with a food sample and a favorite blanket carrying the comforting scent of the family

• Be freshly bathed and have nails trimmed before pickup
